The Cibolo Parkway
The Cibolo Parkway project aims to serve as a major north-south connection between I-35 and I-10, and as a vessel for roadway enhancements to increase safety and decrease congestion on FM 1103. The goal of this innovative project delivery of a public/private partnership is to improve mobility and safety within Cibolo.
The City of Cibolo is working with TxDOT and the City of Schertz on an improvement project to widen FM 1103 from I-35 to Weil Road. The Cibolo Parkway toll portion of the project will start at the south end of the TxDOT improvement project to create a direct north-south connection between I-35 and I-10 for Cibolo.
The Cibolo Parkway project may include an additional phase that would provide enhancements to the completed TxDOT FM 1103 improvements at a later time. Any possible enhancements will be non-tolled.
Project Phases:
Phase I: Feasibility Study – the project feasibility study was completed January 2018
Phase II: Project Development, including ROW acquisition, financing and design and commenced in January of 2018.
